7.3l misfiring, codes:
Hi, so i posted a thread here already abt my truck misfiring already, it’s a 7.3l Excursion. All signs pointed at the uvch, i ran an injector buzz test and it said injector no. 7 high to low side open, so i replaced the uvch with no luck, i ran another buzz test today and now it’s says 3, 5, and 7. i was also looking at codes and i have a code for idm, P1316. i also did not replace the connector going into the harness but will be tmw. any ideas? i’m pretty stumped and don’t wanna shell out the money for injectors based on a hunch, thanks you!

Yep Old and soft is right(the innuendos just write themselves on that screen name), the tech section has it all. I would start at the 42 pin connector checking continuity to the injector harnesses. If those are good yhou can check resistance on the solenoids which should tell you if they're hooked up and if solenoids in spec. If those all pass then you're backtracking to the IDM and connector. Hopefully that link posts for the 42 pin map.
