Installing a automatic floor shifter
Hola mi amigos,
I have a 1979 F100 with a C4 tranny. I hate the where the shifter is now and I would love to do a custom console and put a shifter on the floor. Has anyone done this before? How hard is the swap. I have an idea of the basics like cutting the floor pan, but is there anything specific about hooking up the shifter to the tranny I may have to look out for?
I was looking at the B&M mega shifter. What do you guys think?

It is easy to hook up, it comes with brackets for all trannies and you only need a hole big enough for the cable to go thru and for the bolts to hold it down.
Just be sure to loop the cable smoothly with no kinks and keep it away from the exhaust.
