As of late my 2007 6.0 doesn't do the buzz test and cranks a bit longer before cold startup, five or six seconds compared to two or three when it did the buzz test, after that it starts normal until overnight cool down. The only gauge I have is Scangauge but no codes show there...(big surprise) and no CEL or Wrench lights. Truck runs great throughout the process and after initial startup it works as it always has...good. Any thoughts as to why the buzz test stopped and could it be related to the longer cold crank time? Thanks for any and all input.
Scangauge, I know...it's a poor choice but served me well for the past 8 years that I've owned the truck. The glow plug light functions although I don't know for sure if that is actual or demanded. I will look in that direction. Thanks. Also when I watch the gauge while cranking the sync seems a bit slow and the ICP doesn't respond like it used to, it starts at zero and in the time it takes to fire goes from that to 1200ish in one jump so that leads me to believe it's actually building pressure but the ECM isn't seeing it as quick as it should. It actually seems like the ECM isn't coming on line as quick as it should, that's just an observation.
Also I had a new turbo installed recently and some AC work so possibly they did something to the wiring that may be causing my issues. Thanks for the reply
Another after thought, do you or anyone else reading this know if there is a relay or fuse directly linked to the buzz test that may be the culprit? Any insight into this will be welcome. Thanks again.

To my knowledge the valve covers have never been off this engine. The FICM logic power power is 13.5 and the and it shows 47.5 to 48.5 when the engine is running.
