I'm sure the 3 or 4 leading brands all have pros and cons, so my main question is:
We're any of you successful in finding promo codes, coupons, sales etc.?
Haven't found any used Carbonized Gray on Marketplace, CL, etc. I would be happy with black over gray, but my "cruise director" objects...

Just go to the name brand your interested with, they normally show their offers on the web site.

It seems right now Leer is the fastest turn around time when ordering a cap of roughly 6-8 weeks.

 

I visited an ARE dealer in newnan ga yesterday. Could not enter store because they an employee test positive for covid that morning. An employee did come out and speak to me and told me it would be about 21 weeks if I ordered a top.

 

If you are finding used toppers in your area, just the wrong color, it might be worth calling a few local paint shops and get quotes to have it color matched. I had a local guy who was going to match one for me for about $4-500.

 

With demand so high I doubt there are any sales or promo codes. I didn't get one on my Leer anyway. I ordered on June 18 and got it on July 31, so about 6 weeks lead time.

 

Nope. ARE Z-series for my 2021 6.5' bed was $4303 with options out the door. Waited about 12 weeks, ordered in March.

Cross shopped Leer, price was similar w/ same options.

Went with ARE b/c I have had 2 of them in the past and they were great.

If they are 21 weeks out now I can see them charging even more.

 

I just listed a 1 year old Leer topper in marketplace if interested.

 

Short or long bed and color please? And is it cab height or higher?

 

It is cab height, black in color and fits long bed. I believe Ford calls it Agate black. Other details are on this site’s marketplace section.
