We had a little cold snap (44)yesteday & when I left the house the low air pressure light came on, I stopped to see if I had a really low tire & didn't, checked the pressures & all had 50lbs( no big deal) this morning I aired up to 60lbs all around and the warning light still comes on, has anyone else had problems ?? how do I fix it??
The consensus is that the TPMS sensors trip at about 62 - 63 psi. I tried for several weeks to retrain at lower pressures but the warning would eventually come back. I am now running at 66 psi (even though I'd like to run at 60 psi) and haven't had an alert since. That's not much margin for error so I have to check pressures every few weeks to make sure I'm at correct pressures.
Thanks for the info, I guess i'll pump em up a little bit more
