My name is Brian, I'm 63 and recently retired. Cars and trucks have been my life. I was co-owner of a auto repair shop and used car dealership for 36 yrs. I started working as a tech at 18 doing that for 40+ yrs. In 36 yrs. I got to buy and sell more ford trucks then I can count. Of course I ran across some gems 8 which I kept and drove for a while, all but one were local Ford dealer trade-ins. I'll post a list.

Stumbled across this site recently, I was researching F-150 generations, casually looking for a 20-25 year old one.
Hope I can be of some technical help here, especially with the older ones cause I'm an old fart and happily retired!

Welcome to FTE. We like old farts, around here. But you have a few years to go yet.

Illinois has a great state chapter and the "Older, Classic and Antique Truck", section will be glad to have you hang around.

Click on the "Forums" banner, at the top of your screen. That will help you navigate around the site.

Thanks Denny, I know I'm not that old but I sure do feel like it sometimes! Especially this week in southern Illinois, 105 to 115 heat index next 3 days.
