Any one have info on parts geek egr delete good or bad and or IPR remote oil cooler with the flush system - I have 2-2006 f350 and I have the BPD remote oil cooler and has worked perfect for 6 years but not sure I want to do it on my 2006 with 30,000 miles - only thing I don’t like about the BPD is where oil filter is in font of tire , I have 352,000 on this truck and runs like it’s new
Maintaine your coolant system and you don't need any oil cooler reroute. I have the IPR Research EGR delete installed incl. his full flow coolant filter. Works.
I've run almost 20 years with a coolant filter unprotected where the BPD oil filter is without issue, on the farm kicking things up and through the winters. But I'm also with Hartwig that if the coolant system is well maintained, the clogging should not be an issue. Although should debris clog one with ELC, the backflush with the water pump removed should take care of the issue.
Yes I think I’m just gonna do the delete spend extra time cleaning the coolant and go with the OEM oil cooler even though I’m very happy with the bullet proof diesel
Of course the truck with the bullet proof diesel has been bored over has a coltcam all new lifters head studs ARP it’s more of my workhorse all updates but no coolant filter only issue I had was IPR and wen pulled out it was perfectly clean screen it only had 50,000 on IPR
