My 22’ F-250 CCLB 7.3L will be here in a couple weeks. Regardless, official 2022 suspension kits are not released yet. I contacted BDS and they said they do not have any 2022 trucks to test their suspension yet. I’m sure that is the same across the board. That gives me(us) some time to prepare and research a bit. I am pretty set on a 2.5”to 3”(gas model) RA lift from BDS with 37” tires on 18” wheels. Carli is out of my budget or I would go that route. Seems like for the money, BDS has a great kit and does their R&D. I mainly just pull a pontoon boat. Maybe a 5th wheel in the future and my truck will not be a daily driver.
What lift/suspension setup, wheel/tire did you do and what do you like/dislike about it and what would you have done differently?
I have the BDS 4" radius arm lift and 38/13.5/20 Cooper STT Pros, Helo 9017 rims,-19 offset. I got the Fox shocks and dual Fox steering stabilizer, and adjustable track bar. Truck drives great. I wanted the 6" radius arm lift but they don't make it for gas engines. My truck is more usable at 4" though. BDS is a top of the line kit. What color did you get?
I think leveling kits are dumb and look dumb...like a squatting dog. Lift kits? Well, these trucks are already tall enough for me. At 6'5", even I have a hard enough time reaching into the bed on my stock height F350.
I do usually put on aftermarket wheels with larger tires though. I did run Method NV305's with 285/75/17 Toyo's (34x11.50). I have since changed to an OEM 2021 Lariat wheel with the stock Michelin's for now.
Both my super duties have been left stock other than upgrading the shocks. My 2019 has the plow package so it sits up plenty high for me, I'd like to go a little bigger with the tires but it barely fits in the garage now(have to push the door up a bit higher by hand and use a vice grip to hold it)and better leave a little room for cushion. I have thought about trying to find a set of takeoff Tremor wheels or maybe some of the 20" sport wheels to change things up but not until my tires are wore out.

I think it looks better with the Lariat wheels, but maybe it's because I'm a sucker for OWL tires.
I figured I would get a lot of “keep it stock” answers. I still do love the stock look. And I’m not doing it really for any performance reasons. I consider myself a 40 year old kid I guess. This is the first new truck I have ever bought and always (since high school) wanted an aftermarket looking truck. Mine will be stock for a bit, and who knows, maybe I’ll save the 7k and leave it stock. I know that if I do lift it, I dont want to just throw pucks in there, I want to do it right.

I agree, the first time I saw the pictures I thought the stock(Lariat) wheels look better on it. Not sure why, it isn't the tires for me though. Could be the offset, or the proportion to the wheel well, not sure.

I'm a 58 year old kid! If you are thinking about 2.5 or 3 I would go with the 4" BDS radius arm kit. Perfect lift height for our trucks with 37's or 38's. If you go with 38's you may have to do a little front bumper trimming, nothing to major. I waited a while to lift mine. 1000 miles.
Lift it. You’ll be happy. I lifted it just high enough to still fit in my local drive thru wash. That was the main thing. Rides just like it did before. Just higher. Definitely upgrade the shocks.
4” superlift w/Bilsteins
Bilstein steering stabilizer
Method 704s 17x8.5 0 offset (keeps the wheels only about 1/2” out side the wheel wells.

Love seeing your truck man, it’s exactly what I want mine to look like. I really need to find one local to see it in person. Why did you go with 17” wheels, any particular reason?
How do you like your power steps?
Even though you said it was out of your budget, I went with the 3.5" carli pintop and love it! The new radius arms finally arrived (6 months after the initial lift install due to a new design/backorder) and I had those also installed along with their upper and lower stabilizers and upgraded end links. The truck rides so well right now it is ridiculous. Then I put airbags on the back for towing and it really brought it all together. Took it through some mild off-roading this weekend while camping and it felt so nice and performed so well (would have been better if I dropped the PSI in my tires but just left them as is due to the trailer).
