Need recommendation for pistons

I need a recommendation for pistons on this 351w rebuild.

Just got the 351 Windsor (from a 89 truck) back from the machine shop. Cleaned, magna-fluxed, cam bearings pressed in, decks flattened, bored 0.030 over (had gouging).
Also had the crankshaft ground/polished and have purchased the relevant bearings.

We are using a top-end kit. All aluminum. Heads are 62cc chamber volume.
Comp cams XE268H camshaft w/ new lifters

Ideally compression would be between 9:1 and 10:1

Ideal RPM range would be 1500-6000rpm. Going in a 87 flareside, so not doing any towing, but still a truck. Will have a 5 speed transmission and 3.55 gears.

What would be a good set of pistons for the above?

Well it's definitely the wrong time for pistons, the machine shop should have told you that. You need the pistons in hand before your bore as doing a .030 blind can lead to piston fitment and ring pack issues. Did the machine shop give you all the measurements of what they did? There is a ton of variation between piston manufacturers and production runs on parts.

Most pistons come with boring directions.
I believe the speed pros i used last stated bore .0003 passed piston size and hone to .0005 passed. Been a few years though. Also, if you had the crank cut and you are getting new pistons, its a good idea to rebalance the rotating assembly as well.
But if you can wait till tomorrow i can get into my speedpro book and just dig up a couple of numbers to give you an idea.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever had an engine bored, without sending along the pistons, so they could bore match them. For your purposes, I'd probably just go with like a flat top Sealed Power hypereutectic. I mean you could splurge on forged pistons, but why?

take your motor back and get him to order and install, that way its on him, if he gave you any kind of warranty.

I agree with all of the above.

But, if you choose to just get pistons, here are some numbers you could have the machinist look into.

Forged

Hypereutectic

Bottom one is factory part number, would have to find out the additional number for an overbore size
