351w rebuild
Just got my block back from the shop woohoo.
Anyone have idea's for a kit.
I'm thinking flat top pistons will bring the compression to about 9.77.1. What gas would I need to run? Thinking of a rv or 4x4 cam.
Anything else?

What size combustion chamber you have on your heads, was the block milled? If the compression does come close to 10:1 I would use the good gas. As far as cam, figure out what your total combo is gonna be including rearend, tranny, and general use of the truck and give crane or comp a call. Just a thought, it would be a good time to drop a scat stroker crank in, would be a few more dollars than regrinding the stock one, and 302 pistons are cheaper than 351, hmmm, something to think about. You could go with a scat or eagle kit if you want a stroker or piece it together it comes out cheaper to piece it together if you look around and well you have the rods already. If you want a stoke stroke kit then try PAW or summit they have some fairly good prices on kits. Good luck and I am sure your gonna have some fun assembling it together, later
