Do not present me with that option. I would be out in a NY second. I have plenty to do. Toys for land & sea. Places to go, people to see, many parts of the country left to explore. I don't have a shortage of good times to be had, just a ball & chain keeping me from getting at them.
My plan is to retire next year. Either June 30 or December 31 depending on my mood in June. On the other hand, I'm already Social Security eligible and have made sure that the office knows it. "Look at me cross-eyed and I've got no problem walking out that door and not coming back!"
Bass...I agree with PT...retire...the sooner the better. Best thing I ever did for myself...now...I have time for all my DR appointments. I've also picked up a parttime job...I'm known as Uncle Uber...I take my great nephew to and from lots of practices and games. I also chase his teams across Western MA...gives me something to do.
