I'm not a parent, but wound up as the family adult to a 30 year old niece. She's a handful. Sweet enough, but it's her way, period. Doesn't take to learning new things or being wrong. Has had exactly 1 boss that she'll even speak well of.

I don't remember the first one, but the second one is to write everything down.
