Wow, $250.00 for each one off of Ebay, Running your part number through Ford parts, it say that it's not for my year van and also Obsolete.
I have 2 different connections on my van, not sure it's standard but on the rear tank I have the push on connectors with the little plastic clips and on the front tank I have the connectors that have the metal retaining clips.
So this is the only alternative to having the tanks overflow?

So near as I can figure this would be the replacement 1L3Z-9J274-BA for F3TZ-9J274-A in the link above. my question is in the link it states that it's for 90 - 91 F series. Will it fit for the E series also? . I need to get this done as we're scheduling to leave to MS in November and I'd like to get down the road with no surprises if possible.
The recall was for trucks & Dual tanks only (I think)
Might have just been an Owner Notification Program
Either way, If you find one that looks like that it should work
I see them at the junkyard
Ask Napa ? One way valve Ford Truck 1993-1995
Thanks manic, I'll run to Napa and ask. It just has me stumped a bit because I find nothing for a 1990, but I'm assuming the connections are universal?
I'm assuming that because the gas is draining from the front to the rear that the switch valve is no good or the check valves on the pumps themselves are not closing all the way.
I have 2 that I will send you if you want
They never really said what the actual issue was
Just that the one way valves fixed them
PM me your address, you can pay me back the postage
93S68 is a recall you should read concerning those one way valves
91S39 is another you should read concerning the faulty crossover valve that a lot of the vans had
Sorry about my messy inbox
I enty those one way valves, hope they help
Look into finding this recall part is you have any further trouble
Most mechanics after about 50 years have more parts in their toolboxes than tools
I have 6 roll away tool boxes and about hundred drawers
Glad to get some parts out and gone
This was my original parts drawer from my dealer tech days
