Good morning Massachusetts...and...all who visit this end of the weekend!!! Overcast and a bit chilly with a breeze here...gonna top out in the low to mid 70s with a chance of rain increasing as the day goes on. Hope it's nicer in your little slice of heaven.

Great time with the Brekkie Crew today...we ordered take out and met by the CT River...a bit chilly with the breeze coming off the water. I enjoyed a Western Omelet...hash browns...and...coffee...hot and black. Good friends...good food...good conversation.

Saawx gave up 2 runs to the Indians in the 1st yesterday...and then their pitching shut down the Indians for the next 8 innings. JD Martinez hit a 3 run homer in top of the 10th...the Indians scored 1 in the bottom half...Saawx win...5-3.

Lots of slacking planned for today...hope I can slip in a nap.

Good morning Rod...Brekkie with the crew this morning...I actually slept late...didn't roll out of bed till 0745 hours...I was almost late for brekkie by the river.

Good evening all...turned out to be a rather uncomfortable afternoon...temp was only 73* for a high...but...74% RH made it downright uncomfortable. Looks like the A/C will be on tonight so I can sleep.

Just enjoying a boneless NY strip for supper...then settle in and watch the Pats last preseason game against the Giants in NJ.

It Twa's a hot and very stuffy humid day here until about 1530 when a pretty good storm passed through and the temperature went from 93°, 88% RH and index of 108° to 77°, RH of 70% and an index of 70°!

Ken so you were burning Daylight this morning and I was already up and at it! LOL

Good morning Massachusetts...and...all...who visit this Saturday #1...back at it for those of you who are still at it. Woke up this morning to some serious humidity...94% RH to go along with the 69* temp...on the way to mid 80s this afternoon. We'll undoubtedly see some rain this afternoon as well...should make it like being in a sauna today. Hope it's nicer in your little slice of heaven!!!

Saawx bullpen blew a late lead yesterday...Saawx losing 7-5...in a game that had a long rain delay to begin with. On to Tampa to play a series with the Rays...gonna see of the Saawx can close the gap.

Pats edged the Giants in their last exhibition game of the season...22-20. They open the season hosting a tough Dolphins team in 2 weeks. Still no definite on who will be the starting QB.

Howdy Chris...Pat doesn't work at the nuke plant anymore...hasn't for a few years now.

What a coincidence...20 is also the number of years since the Ravens won a Super Bowl. They can keep winning preseason games...no trophies for that. Shaun's a Giants fan...not a Ravens fan..



Not often that I sleep in Rod...but...it felt good. Should have at least 1 Katie this morning...Katie Lyn usually opens on Monday. Have I ever mentioned what a sweetheart she is???

I'm taking the Thursday ( to set up), Friday and Monday off. He;s ok with that as I told him when I first met him. There is someone else that also helps him part-time This show I did in 2018 and 2019 and made what my regular job makes in 3 weeks, so I'm not missing out on this one

Ken, it's the Spencer Fair, just to the west of Worcester . It's like the Bolton fair and Topsfield fair, not as big as Topsfield .

Anyone notice that some trees have dropped their leaves or are starting to? Me thinks that Autumn will be upon us very soon. I just hope that doesn't mean Winter will be a Doozy.......... off to check the Almanac
