Hey Mike I was having a snooze up in the pull off on the Grapevine when that snow hit in 01, I was woke up by a bud of mine whom I was waiting for just when the snow started to stick. It took over 4 hours to go from there to our yard (Hacienda and the 60 in City of Industry) I've never in my life witnessed such silly driving in my life. I mean from most places in the LA area you can see snow up in the Sierras, so you'd think some of these people have either driven in snow one time or another and know a little about it, or some have never driven in snow and would have the commonsense to pull over when it got bad, or simply just stay off the roads for the couple of hours it snowed. I was literally scared to be on the road with them.
I kinda remember snow, I think thats why I live here. I've got a four day weekend I'm going to put on my shorts, trim trees, work on the old courier, and I'm going to let the sheep and the goats up the drive to eat all of the grass and weeds and I should look around for the mower and "winterize" it. I seem to remember seeing it once back in may.
