yes, it finally snowed yesterday here......we got about 5 inches of nothing but powder-puff...not bad but it's still snow...
...it warmed up and iced over so i had to wait forever for kids with their cars stop and try to gain traction on ice...man i dont see why they think ice is to drive on...
i mean, i was talkin to my dad and the first day it snowed here he was sayin how there were 4 roll overs on the interstate...all in 4 miles...sad actually but why do people like to drive at fast speeds on ice?????
anyways i just wanted to say we finally got some snow here...yes!!!!
we had 60 yesterday, now it's just freaking cold. at least you get some snow to play in, last winter we got really cold but no real snow. they are saying we are due for a bad winter this year though...
Just where in north Florida are you? I was stationed in Milton for 3 1/5 years, 1976 through 1981. Saw snow there once, stopped the world. Saw many ice storms that didn't slow anything down! Go figure..... Got down to 9 above a week before I moved too!
i love snow...we had minimal amounts of snow...
..if it snowed 6 feet here we would still be in a drought...up here we need the snow..we need it badly...
...oh and it was 80 last week...as im righting this it is 18 above...so yea...
We got into the 20's last winter. I watched through a well heated window.
Cold is for Penguins. I'm thinking I should be more respectful of their space and move further South.

They tell me it snows around fifteen feet average for the winter here, I asked when it started, they tell me somewheres at the end of november.
Living in MT, we have two seasons, winter (9Months) and Summer (140 degrees for three months) yeah i know hunting season too but that goes all year so i can't really call it a season.
I've got some good pictures of the blizzard lst spring here in Colorado. I had 32 inches* of very heavy, wet snow on my Bronco and cars when it was over. I lived in Denver long enough to have experienced the 5 worst winter storms in the history of the city.
I now live basically in the desert southest of Colorado......Much milder winters. Summer is about 10 degrees warmer here on the average. We might get some snow tonight.
* I know, to some of you that is little more than a heavy frost.
