HPop testing
Is there a procedure to determine the health of the HPop? Making my priority list currently with it obviously working it would be very low. However, I’m just wondering if it could be tired like my old Power steering pump. Appeared to “work” and easy to say it’s tough at low speed on account of the wide tires it’s hard to turn the wheel. One day I said that’s enough and replaced it! Then I could turn the steering wheel with one finger at a stop. If it’s in good working order I’d hate to replace it now if on the decline but still working I would prefer to get it done. Still have to drive this truck 700k to hit a million miles lol

You can deadhead test the pump to give you a general idea of its overall health. There may be some information in the text section also quite a bit can be found through a Google search.
