Power steering going out??

Power steering going out??
Little help please...
I hardly drive my truck and last weekend I had my girlfriend drive me around (been drinking)....she had a heck of a time making a turn. I gave her a little crap of course but the next day when I drove the truck I noticed it was really hard to turn the wheel.
It seems to only be hard when your at a stop or moving VERY slow...if your driving along its not hard or if you brake and give it some gas it will turn too..
305-75-16 tires, so it's not that......never really had a hard time before but like I said I dont drive it much so I'm not 100% sure.
Im guessing power steering pump is going out or something but dont want to start throwing parts at it without an educated guess.

First, I would simply check the fluid level.
Next but not last I just can't figure out why the female sex insist on turning the wheel to its limits then keep turning .. while sitting still. I keep telling them to move when doing this procedure, which obviously it does not register.
