Engine load on transmission while stopped
I have a 2018 F350 platinum with the 6.7 I’m having an issue with the transmission acting like the torque converter is locked up when I stop at a light or just putting it in gear. While driving the transmission works perfectly. I just had the transmission fluid and filter changed. I have no codes that pull up on FORScan or any other reader. Any help would be great.

Fluid level is good and was doing the same thing before I had the transmission oil changed and new filter. I’m thinking it’s an electrical issue something not telling the transmission it’s out of park.

The first thing to do is to read the codes. I recommend Forscan. You can download it free at www.forscan.org. Their webpage shows how to select an OBDII adapter. Once you have the codes we will have a starting place.
