I have a 95 F150 4.9 Inline 6 and I was changing the fuel filter. As I took the old filter off I noticed that the fuel ine is missing the teeth for the quick connection. I beleive I can get the teeth so that the fuel line is able to connect and not come off but Is there supposed to be O rings in the fuel line at the connection? There wasnt any when I took the old one off but it may be that this was had been replaced before because it doenst seem to be the original fuel filter.
I am planning to purchase this retaining clip: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...017/17191048-P
But I have yet to lcoate what type of o-rings should be in the line, if it is required. Does anyone know if they are needed it and if so which ones?
Thanks in advance!
