Hi guys!
I want to put a new cam on my 1988 F-250 Custom 351W, I did hear than this cam 35-255-5 could fit on mine. I'd buy it on Summit store and they advised me this one. Is it a good choice?

Another question: what does the original cam look like? I think its a flat tappet and not a roller tappet. Could you confirm it?

Yes, if your engine is the stock one, it has a flat tappet camshaft in 1988.

Stock cam is a hydraulic flat tappet.

The Comp Cams 35-255-5 and the Crane 444232 are both good options for a performance replacement cam.
