Directional signal failure
Direction signals are out or somewhat intermittent. All other lights, etc, work. Fuse is good. If I jump a curb the directionals will come back for that start or the day or so. Then nothing again. Short of a bad wire(?) could it be a bad ground?
How hard is it to do a wiring harness on a rig and how do you know you've got the correct one? A fishing buddy who has restored several rigs told me "the easiest way to do a wiring harness is to do a frame up resto". Well yes, but the truck doesn't need a frame up resto its in good shape. The hood could use paint. Its got a couple other issues that point toward wiring harness issues (surging idle and a misfire) of which we treated the symptoms as my Ford mechanic is stumped on the cause short of the harness(?). Any suggestions? Thanks for your help. Kev
it is in the fusebox.
one on the front, one on the back. i don't remember which one is for blinkers and which one is for four way flashers though.
