Air Bag Codes
'94 F150 XLT Reg. cab, Long box. 4.9L 6, 5spd. trans.
The air bag warning light will display random codes when the vehicle is running. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the sequence. Codes 51, 23, and 24 are the most common. When I first got the truck a couple of years ago, it threw a code 51 only and all the time. The thermal fuse was replaced correctly at that time and there were no codes for about 6 months. Awhile ago the random codes started appearing, would cease, then return inconsistently. Clockspring? Although the horn and cruise control work fine. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
