We just have an inline particulate filter incase the local water was recently stirred up. Since we travel all over the country, we carry jugs of drinking water from home. Occasionally we'll run into local water that doesn't taste good to us and that's no fun so we carry ours from home.

I use a 3-stage in-line filter for any water going into the fresh water tank. Like chadstickpoindexter I also use Purogene at the recommended concentration for any water going into the fresh water tank. Inside I replaced the cheap kitchen faucet with one that includes a separate faucet for filtered water. There is a in-line ceramic filter under the sink for that faucet. We generally use water from that faucet for cooking, coffee, drinking, etc. When we are in campground with hook-ups I use the usual blue Camco filter in-line to the city water inlet. The cooking/drinking water is still filtered through the undersink filter.
