Annoying Chime
I know it's there for a reason but the chime for when the door is open or the key is in the ignition is annoying. I remember on the 2011's you could remove the blue wire underneath the turn signal lever on the steering column to disable the chime. Has anybody disabled the chime and what did you have to do?
Thanks.

I believe Forscan can take care of this. Can't stand that door open chime nor the double honk.

I don't see where I can disable the key chime with my Forscan? I have also disconnected the wire in my older Superdutys, but I don't dare cut any wires on my 2019.

On mine I had to do it in the hex section. The forscan spreadsheets here in the forum cover this in detail.

Yes it works.
Chimes, Double Honk, and Bambi are very popular along with some of the speed correction and gauge improvements.

I’d like to disable the “check the back seat for passengers” chime when I shut off the truck. Is forescan required for that?

no sir. That is done through the radio. You will find a setting for rear passenger reminder. It has to be disabled every 6 months…

when I did the last Sync update and had to turn the back seat passenger warning back off, I got a notification that I would be reminded in 6 months to turn it off again.

I don't think my 17' or 19' had this? Must be something new, and something to look forward to?
