I am having issues putting my truck into park and it staying in park. Fluid is fine, any ideas?

You don't say what truck you have but if it won't stay in park that would be a linkage issue and not a fluid issue. Does the shift lever feel loose?

Its a 1999 f250 superduty and yes the shift lever is real loose, i plan on replacing it

The loose shifter is the problem. There are two #30 Torx bolts that hold the shift cable to the shift tube at the bottom end of the steering column. If these are loose or missing they will cause the problem you have.
