After having my beloved 95 stolen I had to have another one. Another 95 5 speed, this one has a banks turbo system. It was a one owner but unfortunately I had to go through a dealer to get it. It seems like it was really well maintained but I have no records. This one will get at least one kill switch, like the last one I intend to keep it forever….
Keep us posted on trackers. I want one for dually.
Does it still have the OBOD? Maybe has the 1.0 turbine housing Banks sold with their kits. How are uppipes? 40/20/40 seats or buckets?
The only one I can answer is the seats, 40/20/40. Have to check on the turbo (it has a barcode/serial number still on it) and the up pipes.
I know it has more power and gets better milage than my old truck, I drove it 425 miles home.
what is OBOD? Same as OBD2?
Yep. Learned an expensive lesson not have full coverage on an old truck. Looking into trackers as well.
read somewhere about someone who used an old smart phone hidden behind the glove box and had the location turned on and his smart phone was able to track it ( something like that) the phone was tied to the 12 volt system so the battery stayed charged.
