Hi all, thought I would start a new thread to keep this shorter and more focused towards my AC continuing saga, lol.
So, to update you all, So, regarding my AC issues, since AC is working when I have the heat valve zip tied closed in the engine, and my automatic temperature controller solenoid module(AETSM) was replaced last fall and didn't cure the issue, according to my mechanic back home I now need to have the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control module(EATCM) replaced to fix the problem. So, how do I find an original Ford one of these for my 2005 F-550 with the 6.0L of course? I don't go to Advance Auto or Napa right? LOL,
Do I just call up any Ford Dealership and have them order it? Thanks everyone.
PS and yes, I am also dealing with engine overheating but that is a separate issue being dealt with soon hopefully.
The EACT (no M in that acronym) if that is the issue will most likely need to be send to someplace that does
module level repairs. You might get lucky and find one at a dealership. The other place to look is Ebay.
Do you have something you can run the laptop version of Forscan on? You will also need to get the ELM device
to talk to the system over the OBD2 port. Forscan is very reasonable when it comes to the price. By the time you
have the software and the ELM device my will be into it about $40 ~ $50.
One place to ask if they can repair the EACT would be >>> https://circuitboardmedics.com
Well it looks like FTE is having network issues and I can't upload all the files I want to.

Wow, and thanks. Give me a day or so to digest all of this info. I have an older laptop, and a superfast tablet I would rather use for the FORScan, but not sure most of it would mean anything to me. So, as I said, give me a couple of days on this. Thanks again!
So I have another question, in the attachments you sent me, I can see the part numbers etc. and the list of what they are, but on p 412-00-4 the diagram there is for the automatic climate control system like I have, and it says schematic for the EATC vacuum but I do not see that listed as a particular part in the diagram. Does my question make sense? Thanks,

Sorry I did not get to this until late and won't have much time to look at things tonight.
When I get home afterwork after I get the new car settled in I will take a look.
