You can delete the Oil Cooler. but where are you going to mount the Oil Filter?
The Filter screws onto the rear of the OC.
You will need the 4 "O" Rings and the 2 paper gaskets.
and you will have to lift the engine on the drivers side to slide the OC to the rear.
Have fun getting to the front 4 bolts.
I did a thread on it and the fun I had.
I did this job 3 years ago in January between snow storms......out side under the
patio cover.
A few winters back my Water pump started leaking, I had a shop do that job as I
wimped out doing it in the cold. they mentioned the VC were leaking, so had them
replace the gaskets. Nice to have it cleaned up.
About 6 mo later the left side started to weap oil. I pulled each bolt one at a time,
blew out the with carb cleaner and compressed air. Then used blue loc-tight on
the bolts. Drivers side still petty clean, but Pass side is a oily mess which I didn`t do.

Yessir, I just ordered VC gaskets a couple days ago, mine are the originals and finally seeping although the bolts are tight. Seems like anytime I had the valve covers off over the years I had to re-tighten the bolts also, usually twice. Think I'll go the LockTite route too.
And 4drock....dunno what tagged is but your it!-) ..... and yes getting worked up bout dudes worked up about terms and conditions and OP’s that skip out and cut corners......wait....thats me....oops. There I go again.
