4x4 won't engage

Yea, where all of the wires go into. I didn't mess with it because cleaning the armature woked fine, but I just wanted to knwo how you opened it. there's no little notches or visible threads so how did other people open it? Just for futre reference.

You need a special screw driver, called a torx, its shapped like a star, put theres little pins in the middle that have to be broken before you can get your torx but it there, For some reason ford put them there b/c they did not want peple opening it up...but if you ever take it apart make sure you mark it were the two pieces meet, the alignment is critical in making the 4x4 work.....In the site above i saw that the only real thing to do in there was to but grease on the gear...so when i opend the motor it was real dirty and thought that was the problem and did not opening the other part up cleaned it and now it works like it was brand new
