So I finally got the rear axles pulled today - only to find this. I assume it is junk? I haven't pulled the differential yet - anything I should look for there? I did a few quick searches, and I couldn't find any new ones, any suggestions where to look?
Both axles look like that? Are the axles the same length?
When you push those back in, can you feel the spline engage? How much further in does the axle go after you feel the splines?
The driver's side axle looks fine (this is from the passenger's side). I haven't tried to put the axel back yet (need to remove the diff to replace the gasket, and all I got to do today was pull the axel).
