Rear drum removal

Rear drum removal

What year did Ford stop making the rear drums that have to pull the axle and bolts to remove the drums my 89 f250 7.3 idi looks like the old style

Last year was 1986 and it was the DANA 70U.

So my 89 drums should just slide over the lug nuts

Yes provided the parking brake is off.

and they are not rust welded to the hub. sometimes it takes a RBFH to whack the drum flange at hub a few times to break them loose.

Had to cut mine off with cutoff wheel pie slices and THEN the RBFH....
