Dash lights and errors

HI all! Just had truck in with FORD dealership for maintenance ie oil change etc. About 45 mins after on way home my dash lit up with the following

1. SERVICE STEERING JUNE 28
2. SERVICE STEERING JUNE 27
3. HILL START ASSIST WARNING JUNE 27
4. HILL DECENT CONTROL FAULT WARNING JUNE 27
5. SERVICE STEERING JUNE 27
6. RESTRAINTS INDICATOR LAMP WARNING JUNE 26
7. RESTRAINTS INDICATOR LAMP WARNING JUNE 26
8. HILL START ASSIST WARNING JUNE 25
9. SERVICE STEERING JUNE 25
10. HILL DECENT CONTROL FAULT WARNING JUNE 25
11. POWER TRAIN MALFUNCTION / REDUCED POWER JUNE 25
12. RESTRAINTS INDICATOR LAMP WARNING JUNE 25

Dealership wants to replace RCM to resolve but now I have no steering and need to tow to dealership and hour away. They are also saying my PremiumCare coverage won't cover any of this. Anyone have a similar issue? I have about 110 kms or 70,000 miles

I find it very hard to believe the RCM could be causing all of these issues, especially warnings related to the powertrain. Regardless, I do think your PremiumCare warranty should cover it. I've never had to deal with this myself, but it looks like the module you're referencing falls under the "Safety" category of the coverage.

I find it hard to believe that if you have a Ford backed Premium Care ESP, which covers everything up to a certain amount of miles / years, which ever comes first, why would you have to pay anything to have these issues resolved.

Do you have a Ford Premium “Maintenance” ESP?

If so, then they’re correct, this policy would not cover the repair cost.

All of those systems are covered under premium ESP and so is your towing to the dealership. Most likely you have a failure in the BCM not the RCM.

So the truck left me stranded with no steering Friday. Called roadside assistance and they claimed they had no contract tow trucks in my area so they left me stranded for 4 hours. I live in a major metropolitan area so I call BS. After emailing the dealer back and fourth they Finally arranged a tow truck for me. They replaced the RCM and all the dash lights so far have disappeared.

Not sure why every time I have a problem I need to fight for them to honour the premiumcare warranty. Lucky for me it was all covered under warranty and a $1200 repair cost me the deductible of $56.50

For those asking I have thhr premium care warranty and for the ford prepaid maintenance plan.
