Exhaust type
Hello everyone please forgive me if this doesn’t belong here. I was wondering if changing the exhaust on our fuel efficient 460s helps with mpg any now before you roast me I know not to by a 8,000lbs for gas mileage 🤣 I’m new to owning one and was just curious.

By changing the exhaust do you mean going from manifolds to headers and a more free flowing exhaust system? If so yes it will improve economy as well as power by reducing pumping losses. There is zero truth to the old saying that the engine needs some back pressure. That is pure fallacy.
