Push rod length

I bought a 1991 E350 van with the 460 in it and no oil pressure. After digging in I found a bent pushrod and lifter popped out on the intake of the #4 cylinder. I ordered new pushrods that were 8.550" in length. It seems ok but its just a tiny bit shorter than the stock pushrods. Are there other options out there? I only saw 8.550" listed when looking?

That's the correct length from '73-;97 according to the book. It is possible to order the pushrod in a +.060 length In the SBI book 190-1425 is the stock lenght, 190-1425+60 is obviously the + length version.

I would at least check the lifter preload.

Found Comp Cams 7844 push rod. I've got a couple on the way and I'll see if they're closer to what came out.

HI, I don't think a bent pushrod is going to cause NO oil pressure... Might need a new oil pump or maybe a plug came out?? maybe the lifter popping out might have cause it tho...
good luck

He said that it tossed out a lifter in the first post. That'll cause it to not have any oil pressure.
