For $700 you'll be buying used injectors that work at the time of testing. For $1200 you'll be buying 3rd party remans. I'd recommend OEM remans that we or Injectorsdirect.com will sell you.
LOL, as in I knew when they used to work, and I keep them for emergencies thinking they'll work again. They're worth $300 just for that, probably misguided, peace of mind. But, I get more peace of mind helping out a FTE bud, and I'm not really a worrier anyway. I kinda thought that price is what they're worth as cores. My last cores cost me $180. I carry these with me because I travel and don't always want to backtrack to return old injectors for refunds. Had to do that last time by mail.
Maybe a bright guy like you might wanna test/rebuild these? I got 4 more still sitting in the block. I'll even throw in the Starbucks.
We can test them, but the remanufacturing needs to be done by the OEM in our opinion. It wouldn't be cost effective for us to hone the spool valve housings for new oversized spool valves.
I bought 8 supposedly Motorcraft injectors from injectorsdirect in 2014. Showed up poorly packaged in bubble wrap, stuffed in a USPS flat rate box, didn't look rebuilt let alone Ford rebuilt.. Sent them back and bought 8 from a Ford dealer.
I’ve bought lines from them and they worked fine, but I think I’d steer clear of bargain basement injectors. With some parts, you get what you pay for. They did send me a cool beer koozie with my order, though.

How much more would you charge over the $250 test fee if I sent you 9 instead of 8 injectors? I actually have 10 spares but cut the plug off one of them, if I paid the $70 for a new coil could you test that one too? I'm sure only a few are bad but which ones ??
