light throttle misfire hot or cold around 1600-2100 rpm
not at idle, not if foot in it, not above 75 mph {+2300 rpm)
tried diff tunes (canned sctx4), swapped out ficm to backup no change, ran some tests with FORScan nothing was any help.
thought might be stiction in injectors but wouldn't that show up cold idle more so then just 2000 + - rpms
hate to just throw $1600 in new injectors at the problem and it not fix it,
A failing ICP sensor can cause surges or stumbling. You can disconnect the ICP and run that way as a test. Would be good to post the actual ICP code number.
Would also help to know if it is an early or late '04. The early '04's had more ICP issues than the late ones.
That is crazy that you didn't get a code with a MAP sensor partially unplugged.
I have no idea why no code?? It looked like was plugged in but plug fell out when I touched it. Took me 3 tries to get it to "click" all the way in. Then when I drove it. Stumble was totally gone and turbo boost went from being stuck at -11.59 all the time (sct x4) to the positives and varied by throttle position.
