Transmission work fixture help
I soon have to turn my attention to my C6. I am going to clean, paint, change filter and put a drain plug in the pan along with converting the cooler lines to AN fittings.
I don't trust the bellhousing bolted directly to an engine stand with all the movement there will be. And, setting it on my workbench will be cumbersome at best to get to everything not to mention getting to the pan and such.
I have a plasma cutter, stick and MIG welders, etc for fabrication. Any ideas or photos of your solutions?
