Just like to introduce myself before I start posting. My name is Chad and I’m from south east Texas. I have been lurking for awhile and really appreciate the wealth of knowledge y’all share. I have turned a few wrenches but not a mechanic by any means.
So, I have two 7.3 F-350s. The first is my daily, 2002 CC/SB/SRW 2x4 with 170k. My new to me truck is a 99.5 CC/LB/DRW 4x4 with 70k. I actually sold a 2019 Duramax to buy her! Both trucks are bone stock except for tuners.
Im looking forward to getting started on a few mods on the 99.5 here pretty soon. But for now here are a couple pics just because.
That dually is freakin sweet! Love that color and 70k miles...wow!
Thanks, I got lucky!!! I was looking for about 6 months and found this one an hour from home. I figured I would have to drive half way across the country to get one. I’m giddy as a school girl about it! It is stupid clean on the bottom side, not a speck of surface rust! Believe it or not the color is my least favorite part. I want to have it painted the new Ford denim blue with the dark taupe two tone on the bottom. You know "Chicken Ranch" colors.

Your posts have been one of the reasons I’ve decided to go the route I have with my turbo purchase! KC 300 63/68 -0.84A/R with stock injectors and all the intake and exhaust goodies to go with it. I may even go with some injectors later on, when my wallet recuperates😂. Thanks for all your detailed info!

I'm glad to see this - very little data on this turbo with stock injectors. Please share what info convinced you to go this route.
I have the old two-tone blue/tan paint - I bet your rig will look good with the new colors - but it looks pretty darn nice right now.
I get about 19 just driving back and forth to work. I can get about 22 in performance tune but I like the tow tune because of the firm shifts.
Have a buddy that's just started looking for a 7.3 to haul a car trailer and wants 2WD for just this reason. Wants a crew cab short bed 2wd. Pretty sure he'll be jealous when he see's this
