I don’t think these are for the towing package? The harness may have been changed over the years. I also found what look like Upfitter switch connections under the hood. 3 connectors
Just a thought here. When I installed an aftermarket sound system in my 2015 XLT, the large dash trim piece had a couple of plugs attached to blank connectors on the trim piece. These were for accessories that were not present on my trim level.
The round plug on the left of the photo is the connector for the Auxiliary Powertrain Control Module (APCM), also known as the Auxiliary Idle Control (AIC).
Thanks. I think Y2KW57 may have cleared some of it up. It is a 2002 F250 Lariat. It has manual 4x4 which would explain one. The auxiliary idle would be another.
I used Forscan on the Raptor I recently sold and there were a lot of things that only needed to be turned on or the code modified to do some useful things. Folding mirrors, idle while locked, permanently turn off the auto stop, global windows down, etc.
