1932 AAB Deuce, Dually, Dump
Took passengers side door off for evaluation. Rusted out bottom of the door:
This happened about 80 years ago.. Will leave that for a later date or it may not get repaired.
Door is upside down in the fab shop:
Repaired cracks (Mig welded) at lower hinge area:
New safety glass for both doors. Drivers was cracked, Passengers side may have been plate glass not safety? (no markings) The lower tracks needed cleaned up. Then were mounted on the glass by Hoffman Glass in Erie:
Friend Gerry helping me install the new window felts. He is securing the botton in the track while I apply adhesive to the upper portion. I think he is having way too much fun!:
My wooden tooling to assure the window fit during the glue drying time.
Not every one can have a "Little Deuce Coupe"! Some of us have to drive trucks!
This felt replacement should reduce some of the noise in the cab. Its still going to be noisy!
Just a nice upgrade to keep the truck happy! Thanks for checking in on me. Mostly over on the Ford Barn. But I do check in here to get a dose of other Ford trucks too! A nice 83 F150 aught my eye in Colorado! Just sayin........
Regards,
Chris
Thanks!
I received the small rubber parts for the window stops and the side bumpers.
Installed these:
Also got the new dovetail for the drivers side door where I repaired it. It was nice shiny chrome. Had to put some primer on it;
So I decided to get these windows in this afternoon. All went reasonable well.
Yes much better:
Passengers side completed too:
Regards,
Chris
Yes the last time this truck was on the road was in 1951/52. Yep 70 years ago. Here is a better shot. of the sticker before I damaged it by accidentally cleaning the window! What a dummy!
Luckily I did not ruin the whole inspection sticker.
The truck set in two garages til last summer when I bought it. Never had a thing done to it while it set there on blocks. Just had to go look at it! The rest as they say is history.
Working on the vacuum wiper motor and some door seals right now. Another engine is being machined for improved bearing upgrades.

Chris
Looking to add black walnut side boards to the bed. Probably with our business name painted on them.
Into maple syrup season now so the truck is on the back burner.
The machine show is working on the good B block. It has been pressure tested, sleeved in #2 cylinder and bored to .080 over.

Chris
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Thanks for the hint. I found it. Pretty decent old red dump truck. Yes very similar to what I have.
Tried to post a facebook link here for the red dump truck inn Mertztown, and it did not work.
I was fortunate mine was pretty complete too. Pricing on that red truck seems about in the ballpark.
Found a 32 pickup they want 24K for. So I guess these do have some value too.
Hope Things are good in Ford land! We wait for spring!
Regards,
Chris
I have not. I really dont think it will have much in the bed except for sail boat fuel and maybe the spare tire and the tool box!
Do you move things (your handle?)
Regards,
Chris
i actually had that painted on the fuel tank of the old kenworth used for the low boy about 30 years ago.
and yes, the name comes from the heavy equipment escort service i ran for 25 years.
T.J.C. Transport Services. TJC are my initials.
And your black and white version is even better! The ragged ol' 32, she does have a sassy look to her!
Snow was off the roads and I took her pout for a drive a few days ago.
Thanks for checking in on the old man.
Hoping to get the first engine ( good block) back from the machine shop in about 3 weeks. It will be reworked to accept ne rods, with bearing inserts, new main bearing inserts, adjustable lifter, new valve seats, new valves, clean the top deck, cut down the lifter casting protrusion, rework for new thrust washer pack, new rear seal design, new cam gear, new crank gear. I would like to have that swapped into the 32 buy end of May. We will see.
Lost in the land of Maple Syrup right now.
Regards,
Chris
