if your valves are not to bad you might be able to get away with just new valves and lap them in. That’s what I did on mine and it’s still got great compression 40k miles later

Yeah that would be the cheapest route, calling around shops to price out that job, no body wants to deal with head work in my area and I dont have my shop anymore, so gotta figure something out.
