Congrats. Beautiful ride.
I might be in the super minority, but I haven’t owned a car in 30 years. Lots of them I would love to own like your Benz or a convertible..
But.... when the meniscus in your knees go, low entry vehicles become a bitch..LOL.
Enjoying it, 577hp AWD, they quit making these in coupes and convertible and also the R8 Audi. Dont know why.
Driving through the mountains and passing these alpine roller coaster rides wondering when I'll be back around one to try it out.
Don't mean to hijack the thread, but the title was what I went thru last week, couldn't pass up the trade in value. Traded in a 2018 F-250 KR 6.7L for $500 less than I paid for it...got a loaded Ranger a big check.

Nice Merc, enjoy the ride.
No highjack, I did the same thing but bought a last gen gas F250 with my credit card lol. Gonna pay that off and pay for the car mods.

I don't mean to hijack either, but I cashed out big with my 2017 and bought a Ridgeline. How do you like the Ranger so far? I was highly considering it in the Orange color, but the back seat was a little small for the car seats.
Nice Car. All it means is you didn't' really need a F250 to being with.
In my case, my cargo trailer, loaded, needs an F-250. I made the choice that I don't need to use that trailer very often over the next year to two until prices normalize a bit. It's my assumption that prices and availability will normalize and those folks who pick up my used 2017 for $67k (price listed on dealer's website) will be left with an extra $20-$25k of negative equity that is cash in my pocket. I can buy a brand new Ford Ecosport for the trade difference between November 2020 and two weeks ago!
For many, F-250/F-350 ownership is a lifestyle choice that can be adjusted.

The trade in values are insane. As long as you can get something that may be a plan B, but still good enough...why wouldn't you cash out?
The Ranger is good...I don't have kids, so the back seats are big enough to hold my lunch pail, groceries and the dog....not at the same time tho. Also I don't have to do an 11 point turn to back into my driveway when the neighbors have their cars parked on the street. The Ranger feels like a go cart in comparison to the F-250.
So I am trying to decide what to order or not. I can drive a company 2.7 F150 reg cab daily (good to excellent shape) or a company last gen F250 4x4 CCLB (fair to good shape).
I have wheels, rear replacement bumper, and 1.5 inch lift springs for the truck I sold. I am wondering if I should order a 22 super duty now and what trim. I almost ordered a Limited but decided to trade now instead so I am thinking get a new one in XL CCLB and sell the 2013 when it arrives.
Speaking of deals on MB, I got one: MSRP was $119k SL, V 12 ENGINE DELETE. What you got was all the V 12 suspension and other goodies and the V8, it was a custom order, Dallas Cowboys Blue leather interior and Silver outside. It had 625 mi on it I got for $82k on a quick sale, it had come in right before lunch and I stopped off looking for an SL at Dallas Park Place MB right after lunch, it was the personal car of MB USA Marketing VP. The car handled like a rocketship on rails. I was out in SW Tex on a Consulting gig for a couple of weeks and I would drive those lonesome Hwys with the cruise set on 115 mph did not even move the temp needle. Fun car, REALLY impressed my dates...
Gonna stick with F 450 King Ranch and if I buy another sports car it will be a C8 Corvette Z 06...
Congrats JoeT on the new whip. It's a sweet ride for sure. We got on the German car (actually made in SC) bandwagon a couple years ago. Actually a 3-row SUV. It's the arch-nemesis of your brand, but trips we've made to Colorado, Vermont, Arizona/Utah were very enjoyable. 23-25 mpg highway @ 80 mph. That and the AWD system is amazing. Still keeping the SD for towing & the Jeep for local grandkid hauling & such. good luck w/ your new ride & enjoy.
So I decided to sell my gooseneck to fund a 2020 front bumper and tail lights on it, got these wheels too. I want 8k axles anyway on my next one (if anyone wants it stored inside limited use and few grand under new).
