I have a 78 f150 that I just got and most of the lights work however I don't have the parking lights that are under the headlights. Turn signals all work but those parking lights don't and when I turn the headlights on my turn signal lights inside are lit up but they still flash normally. does anybody have wiring diagrams that might work or advice to try I have checked and clean the grounds between the battery and the engine and the engine and the body thanks in advance

Ford used a 2 piece construction on the bulb holder sockets, not one the Better Ideas since the ground electrode is also 2 piece and can corrode inside the housing. I've replaced several and the first place I look when turn and signal lights are not working. Some aftermarket sockets may be wired incorrectly color to color on the wires.
The lights on the dash lighting up is a sign of a bad ground at the light not at battery to motor or motor to body but good you cleaned them.

Have you tried replacing the bulbs? If turn signals work but parking lights don't, you could just have a coupla burned filaments. Do check the grounds too, both socket-body and through the socket. If your turn signals are a bit wonky, too, be sure to check the rear grounds - they can affect the fronts.
