7.3 Godzilla Making 1k HP on Stock Internals

he did and he’s right (to a degree)
obviously he’s not talking about stock parts. What he’s talking about is the design/architecture of the coyote I suppose.
There are coyote-based engines running over 4000hp. But there’s not a stock part left and I think they’re generally billet blocks?
not sure what the highest powered 7.3 is but I’d guess significantly lower than what people have done with a coyote.
hes also right that when we start introducing heavy engine mods on modern v8 engines, the 700hp mark isnt that crazy to achieve.
also to be clear I feel like you guys are having 3 different debates at once. Not really sure what points are being made.

Plenty of 1k hp+ gen 2 and 3 coyote's out there with a stock bottom end, plenty of which are daily's. The future is now, it's almost comical what you can get out of modern engines.
My lowly truck gen 2 with a little TVS and some L&M cams will be an easy 700hp, almost stupid to be honest.
Lot's of big power 7.3's out there already as well. I want reliable simplicity so I've left mine alone. Ya, a whipple or procharger can make dumb #'s, but in truck form, if you want more power. just get a 6.7.

It doesn’t count if nothing is stock.
That’d be like saying a Hemi is good for 12,000hp (top fuel)
