No power from dead stop.

I've had this happen 3 times now. From a dead stop if I put it to the floor to beat traffic it barely moves then boom, it's off to the race's. Is this just turbo lag? It's fine as long as I'm easy on the throttle. Thanks!

Sounds like it. You can unplug it at the turbo to confirm it's working at all. If so, a couple of free things to check - the EBP sensor tube coming up off the driver's side exhaust manifold, under the degas bottle. Uscrew the sensor and run a wire/something down the tube to clean it out. Can get clogged with soot and throw off the PCM. There's also a small rubber hose coming out of the top of the passenger-side valve cover that can crack or have a hole and throw off the PCM so it shuts off the turbo. Otherwise, maybe you just need a good turbo cleaning. If you have a data reader, you can check Boost and VGT duty cycle to see if it's sticking or stuck.

I'm sorry, miscommunicated - that MAP hose comes off the intake manifold, not the valve cover.
