Thanks. I have a straight one off a 53-56 that needs some minor welding on the lower tube. I didn't want to scrap it if I could eventually help somebody out selling it cheap rather than scrapping it as I make room in the shed. Guess I will put it back in the shed for now.

F100/250 with 8' Flareside Bed use the same tailgate as F350 Flareside with 9' Flareside Bed (1956/72). 1973/79 F100/250/350 used the same 8' Flareside bed..
D8TZ-8340700-A (replaced BAAD-8340700-A & B7D-8340700-A) .. Flareside Tailgate - 54 13/16" long / I do not know if this tailgate is reproduced

The F100 short Flareside bed tailgate is different, as it's only 49 13/16" long.

It's an original long bed "F250" gate for sure.
Maybe too much information but long story short, about 10 years ago I was trying to help George acquire parts to finish "Earl". I got pretty attached to George and even drove to visit him and his project. He got motivated for a minute and asked me to acquire some parts to speed things along. I drove all over a few states trying to make that happen. His health faded again and he told me to just keep the parts or sell them. He paid for the parts and I was just out the money and time to travel and go get them. He sold the truck not long after I collected parts. I sold off parts with the intent of doing what I thought George would like. Helping other FTE members. I am probably a little better than even and the gate is one of the few parts remaining. I'll rehome the gate for cheap. I'm not trying to be a used parts dealer. I could list it on Marketplace or wherever and deal with sending pics to 20 people that aren't going to buy it. I already did that on Craiglist and I have no time for that game again.

Too bad you're so far away as I'm planning on widening my bed instead of fenders and a wider tailgate would save some manufacturing time .

What color is it? I know there are guys that but F350 Express bed trucks with a joke cut in the gate to unload grain. Theyook for old gates with patina but the color has to match.
