Has anyone changed out their battery to starter cable? Looking for the whole harness including the branch for the O2 sensor, cant seem to find them online or in store. Maybe im using the wrong word for the part here? A part number would be great.
Your best bet for a quality replacement is to take the original out and use it as a template to have someone make a new one. Find a shop (heavy truck, tractor, starter/alternator) that makes custom cables. You want soldered connections covered with adhesive lined heat shrink, and a sheath rated to be in close proximity to the exhaust.
I've done this with all 3 of my F150's. I used 1/0 awg. Truck's start right up.
By far the best upgrade besides a headlight relay harness in all 3 and the '92 302 got a 3G swap from 65 amp to 130 amp. The 2 '95's got upgraded alternators from 95 to 130 with 2 gauge wire between the alternator and battery.
