Okay folks ... life is too short to compromise, so I’m looking for my dream truck ...
I want a 1960’s Ford 4x4, style side. Gotta be in good shape ... really good shape preferred. I’m flexible on year and most variables, but my dream would be a 1963 (my birth year) wrongbed 4x4 that has been restored completely sometime since it rolled off the line. I’ve got cash and I’m serious. I’ve checked all the normal sources and can’t find much. Please reach out if you have one for sale or know who may. Thank you!
(Related note, I’m willing to sell/trade my 1966 F-100. CA built and owned until I bought it 6 months ago ... beautiful shape, almost completely original. Pics attached)

This is his description: 1964 Ford F-250 · Truck · Driven 100,000 miles Purchased new, took delivery Dec. 12th 1963. It is a wrong bed 1964, 4x4 F-250. Have original sales slip and Ford owners manual. It is a 292 V8 with 4 forward 1 reverse manual transmission. Can't give her the love she needs because I have two Corvettes demanding more attention. Looking for that special buyer that will love her as I have!
Think he’s asking 23K. The interior is kind of funkified, in very good shape, but too gaudy and over the top for me.It’s easily be sorted, though, and can be put back to its’ more dignified stock configuration. A person would spend way more than his asking price to get one into similar shape.
I might be tempted to sell mine. It's a factory 63 with a early 64 cab and grille. Completely restored from the ground up. I just don't have time to drive it like I should.

Sure! She is a 1963 F100 Custom Cab long bed with factory 4x4 and 292 Y block V8. According to the data tag she left the factory Raven Black, but the PO who restored her put the current paint job on ... which is period correct: it was an option. Almost completely original ... a few components have been replaced with aftermarket parts but nothing that would be obscene for the era. I put original Ford wheels on her along with G78-15 tires, which were specified as one of the tire options in the original parts manual. First gear is a granny gear; I get about 5 mph before I have to shift ... this truck was made to haul, not run! The FTE member who restored this truck did a wonderful job, right down to the original radio ... with tubes! You gotta let them warm up before you can hear anything. I drive her regularly and I haul stuff in it like she was meant to do. Check out the original in-bed spare tire carrier ... found it on ebay, painted it and installed it a few weekends ago ... spare wheel is being shipped as I type this.
