Good morning,
Like a month ago i removed my intake manifold and it has 16 mounting bolts, 8 each side
There are bolts and studs
I have 10 bolts and 6 studs
I had seen in ford manuals that in the left side it has 7 bolts and 1 stud, the stud at the rear position for the injector wiring harness shield
And in photos across the internet it shows that it has 4 studs on left side
Those manuals don't show a passenger side phto
I have remaining 5 studs and 3 bolts
How are those positioned???
I'm not assembling it right now but it's better to know it before you assemble it
And... if you say "Why you haven't took a photo?" I took a photo but it disappeared
Or i deleted it accidentaly
This is all I have on driver side. But you are correct on the back bolt being a stud for ground of FICM. I would make sure you have a good connection on that one or it could couse future problems.
ow and the blue you see is an extra shock preventor for the Ficm. I made it out of an old cac tube. Works great.
For anyone that has the updated injector harness.
They have you move one of the studs. I will have to
find my paperwork and post that for you.
Cool!
Really want to see it but i won't update my injector harness, i fixed it all up (new clips and FICM connectors and did a cleaning and redid protection)
